Being a lakehouse retreat, we knew this kitchen needed to be fun + bold and yet refined + uncluttered. Every material needed to be as practical as it was artful. So we completely gutted the kitchen, created a new layout, and made this space exceptional.

The owners of this Saltbox home wanted to keep some of that Primitive style but add modern elements to these formal rooms. We stuck to a neutral color palette and focused on textures, antique pieces, & simple lines.

Our design team was tasked with creating a place for grandkids to feel at home and carefree, but still a place where it could be enjoyed without littles. We LOVED this idea.
